Pre-Kindergarten
It's a fantastic day to be in Pre-K at Guardian Angels Regional School! Our Pre-K program is dedicated to preparing students for the next exciting chapter in their educational journey.
Guided by the Franciscan Missionary Sisters of the Infant Jesus and the Diocese of Camden, our program provides a loving and nurturing Catholic Christian environment. Early childhood is precious for children to discover the joy of being uniquely created by our loving God the Father.
At Guardian Angels Regional School, our Pre-Kindergarten program is led by a team of experienced and dedicated faculty members passionate about early childhood education. With a deep understanding of the developmental needs of young children, our teachers create a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters curiosity, creativity, and a love of learning. They utilize a variety of age-appropriate activities and teaching methods to help our youngest students develop essential social, emotional, and cognitive skills. Through play-based learning, hands-on experiences, and individualized attention, our Pre-Kindergarten faculty prepare children for a seamless transition into the next stage of their educational journey, laying a solid foundation for future academic success.
Our Pre-Kindergarten program offers:
- Awareness of God's Love: Children experience and grow to understand God's love through family, parish, and community interactions.
- Positive Self-Image and Social Skills: We foster the development of a positive self-image and encourage social interaction with adults and peers.
- Effective Communication: Activities are designed to help children communicate effectively with others.
- Motor Skill Development: Our program supports the growth of motor skills, enhancing coordination and movement.
- Purposeful Play: We offer structured and unstructured time for purposeful play in a safe and supportive classroom environment.
Our program, rooted in the belief that children learn best through active participation, interactive experiences, and creative expression, lays a strong foundation for Kindergarten.
We focus on developing fine and gross motor skills and pre-math, pre-reading, pre-writing, and self-help skills through music and movement activities. This balanced approach to work and play helps cultivate a lifelong love of learning and curiosity.
